A strange female figure, a shadow of an ancient warrior, an Amazon appears to a girl and instills in her soul, the primordial memory while conveying her own truths and messages to the modern world and femininity everywhere. Esotericism, primal memory, automatic writing, messages from them, and sneak peeks into the future compose the lyrics in this poetry collection. More details: What can a “shadow” say to a girl? What can connect the mythical warriors, with the modern women of our time, but also women globally and throughout time? Another story… The voice from the other side… The myth through the eyes of women! The definitive end of patriarchy. The emergence of the new world and the era of “She Who Brings the Water.” … And a love in infinity, a love that lasts forever.

Already from the dedication page, the author introduces us to the world of the female condition, which is experienced by all of us traumatically, within the framework of patriarchy that determines the life and death, sometimes, of women. The verses are dedicated to the archetypal woman-mother of people and inclusion, who on the one hand speaks as a person herself and on the other hand imposes herself through the primordial elements that return to the text: the purgatory water, a womb-source of life, a sea-principle of everything and material of everything the mighty fire of destruction and at the same time of rebirth, the ultimate gift of Prometheus to humans. The mythical women trees of the poetic text refer to the roots of civilization, the ones that must be exploited in order to change the condition. The place that the book promises, a place of Promise without dangers and senseless deaths or prefaces in sin, is the place created by inclusion and Freedom. It reminds inof the place created in “Death in Venice” when the hero met the beauty. The names of the mythical women towards the end of the collection are linked to the names of the dedication on the opening pages. Thus, a circle is created in the text, through an intersection in time that essentially does not exist, since the individual stories are the same and since the differences are not noted anywhere or the differences are not taken into account. This corporeal circle that could be identified with the circle of life, the one inextricably linked to women, sometimes becomes the circle of death when the woman is humiliated and belittled. Hymn to the Amazons!
    Hymn to the primordial women!

This is how I would call Christina Margeti’s poetic composition.

A poetic discourse that moves between denunciation of patriarchy, restoring historical truth, and glorifying the struggles of women, for the defense of their rights, the rights of their gender and of all women.
But let’s focus on the poetic composition of Christina Margeti, and let’s look at some things more specifically

This composition consists of five parts.

In the first part, we have a mental meeting of the poetess with the female ancestor. A meeting that brings memories – of another life perhaps – a meeting that evokes emotion, which leads to recognition and understanding from both sides

In the second part, we have a culmination of memories and the following emotions, on a transcendental level. An «other» life, in another place and time, in a happy society of women. Themiskyra, the land of the Amazons, is an ideal place and an ideal time, the time when they lived as sovereign and independent women.

In the third part, the poetess attempts a mental historical reviewIn from the course of the Amazons to the West and finally their arrival in Themiskyra, where they lived carefree and happy for years and years but this happiness was interrupted by the Greek conquerors, who occupied their land, brutally violated their values and they altered history.

Fourth part. I would call this part a poetic drama, not so much in the sense of tragic but mainly in the sense of action (drao-o in the ancient Greek language). Descriptions of battles to defend Troy, to defend the very existence of the Amazons. And as always, the distortion of historical truth by the patriarchal world. But those women who die fighting are never defeated. And they carry their souls to other places,to other lives.

In the fifth part, the poetess not only restores the historical truth but connects the past with the present, the ideal land of women with today’s struggles for liberation of women and all the oppressed creatures of the earth. Honor and praise, a majestic hymn, for those brave women who then fought to keep their land nowadays illuminate our struggles for rights and freedoms.

This poetic composition by Christina Margeti dithirambic laudatory and masterfully written has all the elements of the record of the life and progress of ancient women but also their connection with us,the women of the patriarchal world, who raise their stature and follow the traces of their struggles and ideals.

The transcendental element blends with historical retrospection, memories with historical truth, the falsification of history with its restoration, and the multifaceted struggles for independence and freedom.

The poetess with unique sensitivity connects experiences and emotions, sorrows and struggles ,joys, and anxieties. It connects yesterday and today with tomorrow with the promise of a better world for all women and all creatures with inspiration and vision. She guides us mentally to a new, better, and happier life always guided by the ancestors, guided by the Amazons.
