⚠️ Notice regarding incidents of harassment on buses, the Underground and public transport.
Incidents have been reported in various areas of Athens, as well as on routes in Eastern Attica (including 302 & 305), where a group of minors is reported to be harassing girls and women (and others) with verbal abuse and sexist remarks.
There is a possibility that it may be the same individuals.
It is not a “joke”.
It is not “just adolescence”.
Verbal abuse and harassment are unacceptable and are offences under the law.
Zero tolerance for misogyny and any form of hate.
If you find yourself in such a situation:
✔ Speak up.
✔ Inform the driver or relevant staff.
✔ Call 100 (Police)
