No matter how busy our schedule may be on some days, it is good to “steal” a little time for ourselves to relax and meditate, with self-empowerment as a goal as well, of course. What could be more ideal than starting our day with positive affirmations such as, for example:
I am grateful for all that I have.
I am healthy. I am abundance. I am wealth.
Love is within me. I love me. I am Love.
I am power and strength.
My good fortune is within me.
My energy is only mine.
My destiny is only in my hands!
Do not forget that we should always say “thank you” after every positive affirmation, truly feel gratitude, and genuinely believe in what we are affirming. We must feel it. It is very important! Also, we can always adapt affirmations to fit our own needs and make them more specific to the issues that concern us, as long as they remain short and relate only to ourselves, not to third parties, and of course always remain within the framework of the spiritual Law of Non-Harm. In other words, we should affirm matters that concern us personally only, and not things about other people or things that violate others’ free will — or, even worse, harmful intentions.
As for meditation, it is something very easy! You simply make sure you have complete silence and that you feel comfortable in your space. You gently close your eyes and surrender yourself to the guiding voice of the video. Whatever is being described to you in the video, you simply visualize it in your mind — or even just hold the intention to visualize it, if you feel that you have not fully managed to relax and concentrate. When it comes to the videos, it is important to choose a meditation with a voice that inspires relaxation and that you personally like the most. Besides guided meditation videos that you can find online, there are also similar books that you can obtain, read, and put into practice. Finally, it is good to perform frequent energetic cleansings of our auras and our personal spaces.
