I had a telephone conversation with a relative of mine and because she kept using patriarchal expressions in her speech, I was forced to constantly correct her.
Until she became indignant and said to me oh Christina, this is the least, so many femicides, violence, chaos etc. and you stick to the word and expressions? So I answer her with a saying “In the beginning is the word”. If speech, language, the expressions we use every day, the way we express ourselves has such enormous power energetically to create realities, to create our present and our future, then it is the wrong use of language that creates or maintains situations that we do not want. As much as in speech, writing the feminine is marginalized and non-existent, so in everyday life femininities actually experience degradation, marginalization, invisibility and even worse violence. The woman therefore “takes back the position she deserves and should have had for centuries” (Ms. Litsa Patera, astrologer, Dec. 20). FIRST through speech, through writing!
The energy and power of the Feminine Principle returns to humanity first through the word, through language.
